Nicola Snell Company Director

I have always loved business since I was tiny when I cleaned my Dad’s shoes for 25p a pair (slave driver!), and was soon selling cards at local schools, making earrings or walking dogs.  After uni I travelled the world before coming back home when I was 23 and launching zero2one PR.  This then led to me starting Press Loft, which then led to Trend Life and I always have new ideas in the pipeline – I’m never without a business plan!

  • My interior style is:

a very unintentionally eclectic mix of Country / French with a bit of Alpine Lodge thrown in for good measure.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

A massive extendable dining table I use as a desk in the study – perfect for my ever-growing piles of magazines, business books & my kiddie’s drawings.

  • What’s on your wish list from summer 2014?

Pastels and greys combined – I love this girly look especially paired with geometric prints.

  • Your trend tip for AW14?

Going forwards copper is going to be a strong trend in interiors and a big favourite of mine, especially in lighting, giving a soft glow in winter months.

Roxanne Agency Manager UK

After studying Public Relations at Southampton Solent University I always knew I wanted to work in the fabulous world of PR. So marrying my passion for interior design with my job was a match made in heaven for me.

Having been at zero2one for over three years, I started here as an Account Executive before moving up the ranks to Agency Manager.

Before finding my home at zero2one, I worked for an independent publisher where I was in charge of the PR & Marketing for books on general transport.

  • My interior style:

Eclectic – I enjoy mixing different styles that I love to create a ‘chocolate box’ house full of quirky little gems backed with clean, modern decor.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

The bird wall stickers I have dotted just above my headboard never fail to brighten up my morning. They’re reusable too, which is so handy for me as I love to move my room about!

  • What’s on your wish list from summer 2014?

A new bed! Possibly with a thick memory foam mattress I can sink into…zzz

  • Your trend tip for AW14?

Marble or marble-effect products, especially in neon brights mixed with subtle pastel tones. This a fresh and futuristic look perfect for modern and spiritualistic settings.

Roxanne

Anja Account Manager UK

I guess you could call me veteran of the team, having been living and breathing and dreaming interiors PR for over five years now. Coming from a design background (I studied graphic design to HND and degree level), I still do a little on the side (there is currently a tennis club, a squash club and a couple of charities using logos and mastheads with my fingermarks all over them). Prior to zero2one I dabbled in a little bit of beauty and music PR, worked for a newspaper, freelanced for a digital agency, worked in a theatre and DJ'd from time to time.

  • My interior style is:

Industrial all the way. I did flirt a bit with retro ditsy, but it didn’t become my living space. I need a bit of edge in my life.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

A lovely aged globe, it looks like someone has soaked it in coffee overnight. I love it is it combines two of the greatest things in life; vintage and geography.

  • What’s on your wish list from summer 2014?

A small insulated lunch bag. There’s nothing worse than a tepid tipple after a hard day lounging in the sun.

  • Your trend tip for AW14?

An oak work surface warms up an industrial steel kitchen perfectly. Invest in the best.

Anja

Lucy Account Executive UK

The newest addition to the team, I studied French at Sussex University before moving to London. After a brief foray into journalism and a trip around Asia I find myself here at zero2one, well and truly settled into the world of interiors PR.

  • My interior style:

A real mish-mash of family heirlooms, globetrotter’s souvenirs and framed artwork.

  • Best ever interiors purchase?

A giant promotional poster for Brazil from an airline that closed down in the eighties. The colours and style of artwork are so retro.

  • What’s on your wish list from summer 2014?

This year I’m looking for an industrial coffee table to tie together my living room, but still debating whether to buy or DIY!

  • Your trend tip for AW14?

I’m looking forward to the contrast of harsh, angular lines and pastel fabrics this autumn. Keep your eyes peeled for futuristic shapes and linens in chalky shades of soft pink, lilac and grey.

Lucy

Michaela Senior Account Manager AU

Once deciding that a career in interiors PR was exactly what I wanted to do, I began working for our sister company for 2 years before jumping at the opportunity to transfer to the UK head office to further my experience. After an incredible year in London I have now settled back into sunny Sydney launching zero2one PR and its unique service here in Australia.

  • My interior style is:

Scandinavian meets minimalism. Clean lines and open spaces for a clutter free look with spontaneous bursts of colour and patterns to give it some character.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

A safari inspired oil painting from Bali. The detail and use of colour is incredible!

  • What’s on your wish list from summer 2014?

A new bed with a white leather head board and surrounding platform… oh and definitely upgrading to a queen!

  • Your trend tip for SS14?

Defined colour flow: The ombre look is set to stick around this summer, it’s a great way to add colour to your decor and have a little DIY fun as well.
