Nicola Snell Company Director

I have always loved business since I was tiny when I cleaned my Dad’s shoes for 25p a pair (slave driver!), and was soon selling cards at local schools, making earrings or walking dogs.  After uni I travelled the world before coming back home when I was 23 and launching zero2one PR.  This then led to me starting Press Loft, which then led to Trend Life and I always have new ideas in the pipeline – I’m never without a business plan!

  • My interior style is:

a very unintentionally eclectic mix of Country / French with a bit of Alpine Lodge thrown in for good measure.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

A massive extendable dining table I use as a desk in the study – perfect for my ever-growing piles of magazines, business books & my kiddie’s drawings.

  • Your trend tip for AW14?

Going forwards copper is going to be a strong trend in interiors and a big favourite of mine, especially in lighting, giving a soft glow in winter months.

Nicola Snell

Roxanne Agency Manager UK

After studying Public Relations at Southampton Solent University I always knew I wanted to work in the fabulous world of PR. So marrying my passion for interior design with my job was a match made in heaven for me.

Having been at zero2one for over three years, I started here as an Account Executive before moving up the ranks to Agency Manager.

  • My interior style:

Eclectic – I enjoy mixing different styles that I love to create a ‘chocolate box’ house full of quirky little gems backed with clean, modern decor.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

The bird wall stickers I have dotted just above my headboard never fail to brighten up my morning. They’re reusable too, which is so handy for me as I love to move my room about!

  • Your trend tip for SS15?

I’m naturally drawn to intricate patterns and deep blues so I am delighted that both of these are hot trends for 2015. Look out for whirlwinds, interlaced labyrinths and mandala patterns in meditative, indigo blue.

Roxanne

Anja Account Manager UK

Native Northern Irish living in London, by via of Bristol and Tennessee. Having been with zero2one since the (comparatively) early days, I have been lucky enough to play a part in the dynamic growth of the team. I suppose you could say I’m a little bit of a design nut. Before this I studied Graphic Design, typeset for a newspaper, interned for a digital agency and dabbled in music PR.

  • My interior style is:

Hardcore industrial with a mid-century twist.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

It has to be my new kitchen, my own personal Grand Designs. It was such a great feeling pulling out the dingy, cramped, 90s (but not in a good way) galley that stood before, and opening up the space. For best purchase I’m completely torn between the solid word worktop, stainless steel units, and induction hob!

  • Your trend tip for SS15?

Versatile design is going to be big! I’m talking a bookshelf/workdesk that folds down to reveal a guest bed, furniture, accessories or fittings that can work indoors or out. Nothing ostentatious mind you (we’ll leave that in the 80s) but clean, minimal, highly functional design.

Anja

Sarah PR and Content Marketing Executive

Having grown up in sunny South Africa, I’m now happily settled in London and I’m officially the newest member of the zero2one team. I love everything brand related – design, marketing and PR and enjoy mixing it all together. My true passions are travelling the world (usually in search of the sun) and food!

  • My interior style:

I’m attracted to a country look that reminds me of the warmth of my family home with an added measure of industrial just to keep it interesting.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

My best purchase has to be a photograph of the people and landscape in Africa, which was taken by a friend. It brightens up my day just looking at it!

  • Your trend tip for SS15?

Blue is without a doubt my favourite colour and I’m looking forward to muted blues, greens, yellows and greys that will be fresh for spring without being overly bright. These easy to live with shades will help create a relaxing, colourful space.

Sarah

Michaela Senior Account Manager AU

Once deciding that a career in interiors PR was exactly what I wanted to do, I began working for our sister company for 2 years before jumping at the opportunity to transfer to the UK head office to further my experience. After an incredible year in London I have now settled back into sunny Sydney launching zero2one PR and its unique service here in Australia.

  • My interior style is:

Scandinavian meets minimalism. Clean lines and open spaces for a clutter free look with spontaneous bursts of colour and patterns to give it some character.

  • Best ever home-ware purchase?

A safari inspired oil painting from Bali. The detail and use of colour is incredible!

  • What’s on your wish list from summer 2014?

A new bed with a white leather head board and surrounding platform… oh and definitely upgrading to a queen!

  • Your trend tip for SS14?

Defined colour flow: The ombre look is set to stick around this summer, it’s a great way to add colour to your decor and have a little DIY fun as well.
