New Kid On The Block

It’s not every day you get the opportunity to help launch a new fabric designer. Last week zero2one were delighted to welcome Peony & Sage,  the debut fabric collection from British interior designer Kimberley Bell, onto our books.

A collection of subtly coloured linens, Peony & Sage was inspired by the colours and textures found in nature – as well as by the colour palettes from Farrow & Ball.  Having immersed herself in beautiful fabrics and wallpapers for most of her career, creating her own range felt like the natural next step for Kimberley Bell.

The entire collection was designed with versatility in mind: the linens should appeal to different tastes and are suitable for all room types, for curtains and upholstery.

Kimberley explains: “I specifically designed fabrics suitable for every room in the home.

National Business Awards

On Tuesday it was time for the zero2one girls to dust off those LBD’s and glam up for the eve as we were cordially invited to the National Business Awards to support our dear friends, Press Loft.

After acting out a ‘Here comes the girl’s’ scenario around Kate’s we hopped in a taxi and made our way to Grosvenor House for the grand event.

The prestigious awards ceremony which celebrates the best in British business started with a speech from the slightly under-dressed Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne (who had just flown in from Eurozone crisis talks) and the awards were hosted by the legendary Mastermind presenter, Jon Humphries.

Our sassy sisters at Press Loft who help us everyday to shout about our lovely clients were nominated for the small online business award, recognising all their hard work in helping small businesses and PR agencies like ourselves.

We had a fabulous night toasting our dear friend’s nomination and mingling with top British businesses whilst we danced the night away.

So here’s to Press Loft, they may not have won on the night but they are all winners to us.

Painting the town green!

So Tuesday night saw the ‘green team’ plus a few of our journalistic friends head down to Graphic to discover for ourselves the art behind a good cocktail.

The evening it itself was simply divine.

A One-Stop Shop For Nursery Buyers

Last week I journeyed up to Harrogate to attend the UK’s number 1 nursery trade show where two of our clients, Boon UK and UPPAbaby, were showcasing the latest in cutting edge American nursery designs.

Boon UK design and create some of the most contemporary, practical and affordable solutions to challenges that parents face everyday whilst caring for their babies and toddlers.

Take Your Seat for the Royal Wedding!

It’s been busy week here at Zero2one, with the addition of another fabulous new client – Metal Design Furniture.

And we’ve all been bowled over by their William & Catherine Commemorative Chair, a departure from all the monotonous wedding memorabilia that is currently being churned out by the masses, and quite frankly, a rather chic and elegant design.

The William & Catherine Chair features the couple’s names and the wedding date and, suitably for a Royal wedding, is available in white or gold.

UPPAbaby receives a Which? Best Buy Award

It was a very exciting day in the office last week when we received news that one of our new clients, UPPAbaby, had received a Which? Best Buy award for their Vista pushchair system, scoring a fantastic 85%!The Best Buy UPPAbaby Vista travel system consistently scored top marks in the Which? consumer tests and was a favourite with their testing panel thanks to its manoeuvrability and large storage space.

The Which? testers described it as a ‘delight to push’ as it gives a smooth ride on most outdoor surfaces, cornering is excellent, and it can be pushed one-handed, and it also glides back and forth around obstacles with ease.

From busy city streets to winding country roads from an afternoon feeding the ducks in the park to retail therapy, the Vista takes your child on the road in style, and although they are just getting started in the UK and Europe, UPPAbaby are well known and loved by North American families.

The New Year started with a bang here at zero2one PR as we got back into the swing of things with writing press releases, promoting new product launches, attending a press event and a couple of visits to a few of our journalist friends.

We’ve also had a very successful start to the year here with the addition of some lovely new clients.
