Mum’s the Word!

As Mothering Sunday rapidly approaches (30th March for anyone who’s forgotten!), we’ve been thinking about all the friends and journalists we know who are expecting, but won’t actually be “mothers” until after the big day passes – surely they deserve a little love and affection as they embark on the life changing experience of having children?

Beyond the obvious pampering gifts, we think this delightful print from Besty Benn is a wonderful gift idea, encapsulating the notion of what it means to become a mother: to love forever, completely and unconditionally

Of course, gifts for the baby are lovely ideas too, especially those a mother can cherish long after her child has grown, as well as more practical gifts to make sure she is the coolest mum on the block.

Here’s our round-up of our favourites…

BabaBing! Win Coveted Mother & Baby Gold Award

On Wednesday night Kate was invited along to the Mother & Baby Awards 2014 by her clients UPPAbaby and BabaBing!, both of whom were nominated for awards in the Best Travel System and Best Bouncy Chair, Rocker or Seat categories respectively.

Despite  UPPAbaby’s win the previous year in the same category with the VISTA travel system, the CRUZ didn’t quite make the top 3 this time around, and we were left hanging on right to the end of the awards ceremony to discover that BabaBing!’s RockOut had won the Gold in their category!

A Nursery Fit For a Prince!

There’s been a lot of debate in recent weeks over the design of the new Prince of Cambridge’s nursery, with Hello! magazine initially reporting that the Duchess had chosen a classic Beatrix Potter theme for the nursery at Kensington Palace, while CNN later reported that Prince William planned to pass along his love of wildlife conservation by decorating his son’s room with an African scheme, full of baby elephants and rhinos.

Whichever they opt for, it is safe to say that little Prince George will have the very best, with no expense spared.

So, to help inspire the new Royal parents (and new parents everywhere!), we’ve pulled together 3 of our favourite newborn baby nursery schemes with products from our range of baby clients, inspired by traditional farmyard animals, exotic jungle creatures and adorable English woodland critters…

Which look is your favourite?

Room to bloom is perfect if you need inspiration and ideas on how to decorate your child’s bedroom or nursery.

Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

Royal Baby Boy

Here in the office we’ve been excited about the Royal Baby since the moment it was announced that Kate was expecting (way back in December) so we are naturally over the moon to hear the joyous news that a little Prince has been safely delivered into the world!

We wish the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the soon-to-be-named little Prince of Cambridge all the very best and, along with the rest of the world, eagerly await the first photos of the happy family together.

What better way to celebrate than with a little round-up of the best Baby Boy nursery pieces and gift ideas from our fabulous clients, as we take a punt at what the Royal heir may be named…

Eggcellent Easter Entertainment

The sweetest bank holiday of all is almost upon us, and I for one cannot wait to crack open the eggnog (wrong holiday? Oh).

While it’s officially spring, the harsh reality is we’re more likely to be shovelling snow than frolicking in a field of daffodils this weekend.

Hare and Now

Easter is not just about eggs or celebrating a religious festival (okay, small fib) but it is also about our dear friend, the Easter Bunny.

Although the Easter Bunny might potentially have the best job in the world being constantly surrounded by chocolate, it’s his noble brothers that we are suckers for here at zero2one.

The adorable floppy-eared fellas have influenced interior and fashion trends for years and to honour their hip-hopping ways, here is our round up of our favourite rabbit inspired products.

Watch bunnies skip, play and frolic in and amongst a flowered field with the bunny meadow wall sticker from Bambizi.

UPPAbaby win GOLD!

We’re delighted to announce that our client UPPAbaby has won Gold at this week’s Mother & Baby Awards for the VISTA Travel System.
