Using your Press Coverage - 23/03/2009
We often get clients judging the value of the press coverage purely on instant sales generated from that pieces we secure for them.
However, PR budgets and press coverage goes much further for those companies who actually proactively use this coverage. A key way of doing this is by featuring a Press Area on your websites. If you get permission from the magazines first then you are allowed to place scanned copies of press coverage onto your site. We also suggest providing a link to the product featured on your site, so customers can directly buy. If possible, its also a great idea to write e.g. 'As seen in Livingetc' next to the product listings.
Using these tricks means your customers will view your company as trustworthy and well thought of... ultimately meaning they are more likely to buy from you.... which is, of course, why you want to carry out PR in the first place!Tags: PR Help |
