We’re all going on our…Summer holidays

Phew, it’s hot!

While everyone else is suffering through the heat, I’m trying to acclimatize before jetting off to the Nevada-Arizona-California triangle on Wednesday. In honour of my departure (and to raise some green faces in the office), I have picked out a few top travel accessories from our clients.

See you in a few weeks!

double bubble

Yesterday we went to visit Bubble London where two of our clients, White Rabbit England and Busy Peas, were exhibiting.

A contemporary baby show in the heart of Islington, Bubble London’s philosophy is to present a focused trade show in a wonderful space, where retailers can meet exhibitors from every aspect of the kid’s world, from clothing to toys, shoes, gifts, accessories and more.

We found White Rabbit England on the mezzanine floor right next to the  exhibition hall cafe (clever placing indeed!), and what a sight it was to behold!

From the original fairy toadstool nightlights, Dewdrop and Bramble, and classic White Rabbit nightlight, this Autumn the White Rabbit England collection has expanded into bedlinens and soft furnishings including a wonderful range of pom-pom trimmed cushions that are handmade in the UK, as well as fabric covered clocks and pinboards.

There are also pretty bone china dinner sets with White Rabbit England’s instantly recognisable rabbit, owl and dog prints which sit alongside their pre-existing colourful range of butterfly and racing sets, and a beautifully illustrated children’s story book telling the winter’s tale of The Little White Rabbit, written by Charlotte Thompson.

Further along on the mezzanine floor of Bubble Gum we found the Busy Peas stand, adorned with their trademark vegetable printed bodysuits and all-in-ones, carefully watched over by the Veggie Bunch – Peat Pea, Gene Aubergine, Carry Carrot, Tom Tomato and Stewart Strawberry (enjoying his moment in the sun as Wimbledon begins…).

Crowded with the hustle and bustle of journalists and buyers alike, it was wonderful to see the Busy Peas range in the flesh and appreciate just how adorable the new pea print sundress (with matching ruffled panties) and the Peat Pea print dungarees really are – no wonder they are proving to be instant best-sellers!

Did you manage to get down to Bubble London this year? Which were your favourite stands?

The Office

We had a productive week re-arranging the office. Just as our back catalogue magazine shelves were filled to overflowing, a little angel of fate left little a bookcase just outside our office with a post-it reading ‘please take’ attached.

Colour is certainly the name of the game as our new bookcase sits happily in it’s new spot in the corner that served previously as a no man’s wasteland, adorned with files and mags of every shade under the sun.

If you’d like a few ideas for quick office updates that could really enhance your working environment, take a look at the  great products below…
