New Trends for Autumn 2011

Despite it only being February we are fully immersed in the summer trends here at zero2one whether its discussing the Pantone colour of the year – Honeysuckle, writing press releases on outdoor dining, the upcoming royal nuptials, barbeques and outdoor furniture or thinking about how we will spend our summer and which festivals we will be attending.

However we had a glimpse of new A/W trends for 2011/12 when Kate presented our quarterly trend report last week.


UPPAbaby receives a Which? Best Buy Award

It was a very exciting day in the office last week when we received news that one of our new clients, UPPAbaby, had received a Which? Best Buy award for their Vista pushchair system, scoring a fantastic 85%!The Best Buy UPPAbaby Vista travel system consistently scored top marks in the Which? consumer tests and was a favourite with their testing panel thanks to its manoeuvrability and large storage space.

The Which? testers described it as a ‘delight to push’ as it gives a smooth ride on most outdoor surfaces, cornering is excellent, and it can be pushed one-handed, and it also glides back and forth around obstacles with ease.

From busy city streets to winding country roads from an afternoon feeding the ducks in the park to retail therapy, the Vista takes your child on the road in style, and although they are just getting started in the UK and Europe, UPPAbaby are well known and loved by North American families.


Gifted Penguin Nurturing Genius Seeds of Home Grown Talent

Having already proved they have the edge over other generic gift shops by venturing into waters unchartered teaming up with a local artist to offer customers bespoke typographic artwork, Zero2one client The Gifted Penguin will be one of the first to sell Textile design debutant Becky Broome’s fabulous printed products.


New Clients at zero2one PR

Wow where did January go! Can you believe we are already the 7th of February? The New Year started with a bang here at zero2one PR as we got back into the swing of things with writing press releases, promoting new product launches, attending a press event and a couple of visits to a few of our journalist friends.

We’ve also had a very successful start to the year here with the addition of some lovely new clients.


Lifestyle Bazaar – Valentines Launch Event

Last Thursday evening I hot-footed it down to the Lifestylebazaar store on Kingsland Road for a special reception to mark the launch of Amour Vincit Omnia (love conquers all) – a limited edition version of The New English’s wonderful heart vase.With numbers strictly limited to 100 pieces, 50 of which will be available with 22kt gold hand gilded and burnished accents and 50 with burnished platinum and red detailing, these pieces look set to become instant collectors items, further reinforcing Lifestylebazaar’s reputation for spotlighting unusual and highly desirable objects.

With its launch specifically timed as part of the lead up to Valentines day, the Amour Vincit Omnia edition of ‘heart’ represents most powerful symbol of our love and affection the mysterious repository of our most intimate secrets, desires and thoughts.
